Nas Air is a private low-cost airline operating in Saudi Arabia. Nas Air is the first airline operating in the Kingdom's economic aviation system after winning a bid to operate scheduled flights within Saudi Arabia from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Headquartered in Riyadh, King Khalid International Airport and King Abdulaziz International Airport are the hub of its operations. Nass Airways was established in 2007 and took off its first commercial flight on February 25th of the same year. Nass Airways is a subsidiary of National Holding Company For Air Services (Nas Holding), NAS offers services to 11 destinations in Saudi Arabia and 26 international destinations in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Saudi Arabian Airlines was the only airline in the country until 2006, when budget carriers Nas Air got their licenses from the government. Nas Air was founded in 2007. Operations started in February that year. In late 2007, Nas Air firmed up an order for the acquisition of 20 aircraft of the Airbus A320 family. The company changed its name from Nasair to Flynas in November 2013.
